【補完人類學：收爐啟示】
農曆新年前夕，人們總會互相報告自己「收爐」（下班不再工作，直到農曆年假後）。像猶太教的「安息日」規定教徒必須休息，那麼中國農曆新年也算是一個儀式性時刻，讓人們明正言順放下工作，與家人朋友聚會（縱使很多人覺得去拜年更累）。
在資本主義經濟下，我們都狠批不勤勞工作的人是社會寄生蟲，停止不工作是一種罪。古典社會學家韋伯（Max Weber）說過人們努力工作不花錢享樂，累積財富就是得到上帝祝福，是死後能夠上天堂的啟示。
來到現代社會，還有這麼一個傳統，讓我們理直氣壯說「收爐」，該感恩中國？
“Waste of time is thus the first and in principle the deadliest of sins. The span of human life is infinitely short and precious to make sure of one’s own election. Loss of time through sociability, idle talk, luxury, even more sleep than is necessary for health, six to at most eight hours, is worthy of absolute moral condemnation” (Max Weber, 1905).
